Chelsea Apartments - Hortensia Road, London

£50 million scheme comprising the development of a new modern college building and luxury apartments.

Project Overview
The development company ‘Chelsea Apartments Limited’ is jointly owned by The Trevor Osborne Property Group and Manhattan Loft Corporation.

The new Kensington and Chelsea College building will replace accommodation currently used in the Sloane Building, making way for this Grade II listed building to be restored and converted into 34 apartments, designed by Pringle Richards Sharratt. The new college building, together with 35 new build apartments built as the first phase are designed by Edward Jones of Dixon Jones Architects.

The project will commence construction in the Summer of 2009 with the first phase apartments becoming available for occupation in 2011.

Whilst the new build designed by Dixon Jones will bring an exciting addition to the Fulham Road, the conversion of the Sloane Building, when vacated by the College, will be entirely sympathetic to the integrity and character of the listed building which will offer the highest quality apartments to a discerning market.
