Trevor Osborne has developed many buildings over the past forty years and is an expert in the field of buildings of architectural and historic interest. His expertise has included membership of the Montague Committee which produced early advice in the form of British Historic Buildings – a Policy for Future Use, membership of the Historic Buildings Advisory Board (a predecessor of English Heritage) and as a member of the Royal Opera House Development Board he achieved negotiated consents for the rebuilding of the Covent Garden Opera House.
His interest in mixed use is evident in his role as the founding chairman of His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales’s Urban Villages Forum. He is currently a Council Member of the Georgian Group, a Trustee of the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust, he was a Founding Director of the Academy of Urbanism and the Chairman of the Advisory Board of South East Excellence. The Group’s philosophy is to engage and be involved in the communities in which it operates. In Oxford Trevor has been a Court Member and Visiting Fellow at Oxford Brooks University.
In Buxton he served 9 years as a board member of Buxton Festival and is heavily engaged in promoting the Town, The University of Derby and local organisations. In Bath his service as a Trustee saw the extension and re-launch of The Holburne Museum. He continues as a Governor and Trustee of Bath Spa University and the Mozart Festival. He is a member of the Bath Initiative and Greater Bath Ltd.
Andrew Ryan RIBA MAPM
Director, Andrew Ryan, trained as an Architect at the Universities of Bath and Portsmouth. Qualifying in 1991, he has worked on a number of significant projects in London and the South East. His experience includes complex mixed use projects, retail, commercial and residential schemes. Andrew is a former Director of EPR Architects Ltd.
In September 2004 Andrew was persuaded to leave EPR to join the Trevor Osborne Property Group. He now works as Development Director on a number of the projects for the group amongst which was the multi-award winning Oxford Castle Heritage Project and Malmaison Hotel.
Business Manager, Jo Sharp has wide ranging commercial experience encompassing business development, project management, marketing and public relations. Following 5 years working for an international buying agency in Florence, Italy, Jo spent 12 years as Senior Director with a UK agency specializing in strategic e-commerce solutions for the international hotel & leisure market.
Jo joined the group in May 2007 and has a varied role covering investment property management, business development, marketing, public relations and business support on major projects. She is located in Cornwall and has specific responsibilities for the business conducted from the Porthleven Office.
Development Manager, Rob Moore, has experience of working on developments from a wide range of sectors which are often complex in nature. He started his career at Davis Langdon, where he qualified as a chartered surveyor with the RICS and worked on a number of projects including the ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower on the London Olympic Park and the Tate Modern Extension. Prior to joining the Trevor Osborne Property Group, Rob spent three years working as a Cost Consultant and Employer’s Agent at Core Five, where he managed a number of residential developments, along with some mixed use master plans across London and the South East.
Rob joined the Osborne Group in July 2016 to manage a number of developments including the Bristol, Guildhall and Cleveland House in Bath.
Development Coordinator, Sam Pace, has wide ranging experience in the historic built environment including heritage management, building conservation, and planning policy. After reading history at the University of Chichester, Sam joined English Heritage, managing a number of historic properties across the South East.
In 2013, Sam joined The Trevor Osborne Property Group, managing the successful regeneration project at Oxford Castle. During her time in Oxford, Sam gained a post-graduate degree in Historic Conservation with Oxford Brookes and the University of Oxford’s Department of Continuing Education. Now based in Reading, Sam works as the Development Coordinator on a number of projects across the UK including Buxton, Cornwall, Shrewsbury and Bath.
Sam is Director of Fete Day, a creative production company producing arts, cultural and heritage projects across the UK.
Katie joined The Trevor Osborne Property Group in 2007 as Trevor’s PA. Katie has a legal background having worked for a number of years at a large Bristol based solicitors.
Katie is now the Estates Manager with the responsibility of managing a portfolio of over 150 properties nationwide.
Karen is Office Manager and PA to the Chairman.
Karen joined The Trevor Osborne Property Group in February 2011. Karen has extensive legal secretarial and PA experience and, in her capacity as a PA assists Trevor with diary management and secretarial support. Karen also looks after the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis.
